Why We Return

This is a place for reflection, for things learned slowly, and for the kind of work that connects the past to the life we’re living now. Here you’ll find thoughtful writing, observations, and pieces meant to be returned to—not rushed through.

I will forever be connected with the past. How I approach the future has changed.

We are not one thing at a time.
We are what we’ve been, what we’re learning, and what we still carry.
Some moments were shaped by choice. Others by circumstance.
Over time, they settled together — flaws included — into something whole.
Now, with more of life behind me than ahead,
the future asks for a different kind of attention.
